1) Ian Logans
Railway Topics.
Having lived next to the Glasgow to Airdrie line from 1965 until 1985.
I was totally intrigued in his work on the Glasgow Suburban electrification,
(and yes, I admit I pinched the GSE logo from his site, I hope he doesn't
mind!)
2) Scottish
Railways & Steamers.
A huge site with masses of info on Scottish railway history
3)Scottish Railway Preservation Society
All you need to know about the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway and S.R.P.S.
Railtours.
4)Ewans Railway
Homepage
Photographs and observations from the Capital, hello Ewan - we met
at Motherwell!
5)Glasgow's Railways
A very useful chronology of the railways of Glasgow, and compiled by
a member of the fairer sex no less, just shows that "the hobby" is not
purely for daft boys.
6) Geoff's
Home Page
Good pictures of M.G.R. workings in the Stirling and Fife areas, and
the homesite for the Kingdom of Fife Railway Preservation Society, who
are based at Methil
7)Please come back - Subterranean Glasgow.
I had nothing but genuine admiration for the people who formed the
"Milk Crate Gang". Anyone who ventures into the places where they
go to take pictures, without a heavily armed escort, are either totally
committed to their hobby or "aff their heids!" A wonderful selection
of photographs beautifully presented. Sadly missed
